Words are our business. Whether they're on web pages,
magazines, books, brochures, CDs, newsletters, flyers, journals
or handbooks, words are what's important. Sometimes people get
so caught up in the medium that they forget about the message.
But all that paper and ink and plastic is just packaging
designed to encourage people to read the words, to get the
message.
One of our specialities is what a customer described as
"editorial salvage". He was being polite. We can take the most
dull, wooden and tangled copy and turn it into clear,
meaningful, and accessible writing; and then design the pages
to maximise the readers' understanding and enjoyment.
Another speciality is complete project management. Lots of agencies can handle a little editorial, or turn out a nice one-off design. But the number of organisations that can manage entire publishing projects from end to end - commissioning the copy, designing the pages, printing the magazine and distributing it - on time and to budget, are few and far between, especially if it's a regular publication. That takes not just flair, but professionalism and expertise.
