ABE logo

Association of Business Executives

The ABE was founded in the early 1970s by a group of industrialists, educationalists and politicians as a non-profit making institution. ABE's aim was to become a market leader in the cost-effective provision of quality British management education. The ABE works with students all around the globe.

CPL has worked with ABE since 1999. As well as producing marketing materials and brochures for the organisation, we also design and print its flagship quarterly magazine Business Executive along with its companion publication Student Focus, which circulates to more than 30,000 ABE students worldwide.

CPL designs and prints the Chamber's quarterly newsletter Making Waves, which keeps member organisations in touch with important news events, lobbying and policy shifts. In 2005, the Chamber asked us to design and produce its weekly e-newsletter, the General Circular, in HTML format.

We have written and designed the Federation's flagship publication First Voice since early in 1997. With 190,000+ members, the FSB is now the biggest membership business organisation in the UK.

We also designed and printed the Private Sector Payment Performance League Tables for several years on behalf of the FSB and the Department of Trade and Industry, using information researched by Dun & Bradstreet. The tables are now published on the internet.

National Operatic & Dramatic Association

The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) was founded in 1899 "to protect and advance the interests of Operatic and Dramatic Art, and of Societies engaged therein". NODA asked CPL to redesign its flagship publication NODA News in 2001, and we have designed and printed the quarterly title ever since.

Cambridge Union logo

The Cambridge Union Society

The Cambridge Union Society is arguably the world's most famous debating society. Many leading figures of British society and politics have been members and officers of the Union since it opened its doors in 1815.

Each Term brings a new student president - and each Term these enthusiastic young people are responsible for producing a printed guide to the forthcoming debates. Since 2004, we have worked alongside each new president to help them produce their guide, along with a range of other publications including marketing materials, debating guides and freshers' handbooks.
