The magazine of the Federation of Small
Businesses is the biggest-circulation business magazine
in Britain at more than 215,000 copies every two months. This
reflects the fact that the FSB is the largest and most
influential organisation representing the interests of
small businesses in the country.
CPL entered into competitive
tender and won the contract to handle First
Voice early in 1997, and immediately engaged in a
radical redesign of both the look of the magazine and its
content. Late in 1997, a separate business-to-business
classified supplement was launched, which by 1999 - now
renamed Business Network - had grown to 48
pages, complete with its own editorial.
The magazine carries features covering all aspects of
setting up, running, and making a success of a small
business in Britain today. It carries advice pages and
comment articles, as well as interviews with leading
politicians. The magazine also has its own dedicated
website.
