Rail Professional is circulated to more than 7,500 top
managers throughout the industry every month. In doing
so, it seeks to fill the information gap created by the
removal of the old British Rail - where, to a
considerable extent, managers across the entire industry
knew each other.
Today, rail managers work for commercial rivals, and
the free exchange of information is strictly limited. For
many, Rail Professional is a primary source of
invaluable knowledge about what is happening within the
industry, carrying news, exclusive interviews with key
players, and recruitment advertising.
CPL was asked to take over the
editing, design and production of the magazine in early
