Chamber of Shipping

The Chamber of Shipping is the trade association for British shipowners and ship managers. It has 137 members and associate members who own or manage almost 900 merchant ships totalling about 23 million gross tonnes. The Chamber works with the Government, Parliament, international organisations, unions and the general public on behalf of the many different commercial sectors in the shipping industry. By providing a strong and united industry voice it is able to open doors which would otherwise remain shut to most individual companies and ensures that serious consideration is given at all levels to the views and policies it advances.

CPL was asked in 2005 to edit, design and print the Chamber's flagship Annual Review, which we continue to produce. The publication was named Best Annual Report of the Year in the Best Practice Awards 2008, organised by the Trade Association Forum; the judges praised its "panache" and accessibility.
