Designing a brand-new publication from scratch is one of the hardest exercises in publishing. With no earlier publication to develop or grow from, where do you start? What format should it be? How many pages? What fonts should you use? What headline and text style? How should you display pages to suit your proposed readership?

If you ask CPL to contract publish a new title for you, we will engage in a creative design exercise for you at no extra cost, submitting a number of alternative designs and working with you to establish a final design that you feel best suits your purpose.

We will also engage in creative design for new titles for organisations which intend to produce the titles in-house. The charge for this will vary depending on the complexity of the task, but prices will be in the range of £2,500 to £5,000 per title.
